The knowledge one acquire in school is so much different than the knowledge gained by experience. Once learned something from experience, it can be used to solve new problems in life. Albert Einstein was one of the most intelligent man ever lived in this planet, and he claims the only source of knowledge is experience.
When we envy others we only envy some part of their lives. It is so easy to find the good things in other peoples lives and neglect the bad ones. We would like to have a “hand picked selection” of good things and then we find our-self depressed if it does not came about. You cannot find happiness until you envy others.
There is a big difference between the real problem one faces and the imagined anxieties about this problem. People tend to overrate their difficulties and create imaginary problems in addition to real ones. You have to make the question: do you really want to solve your problems, or just want to create more excuses?

You can not please everybody. If you try to do it, you will find yourself so busy with this task, that you will have no time to do what you really benefit from. Success is not measured by how other people are satisfied with you performance but how satisfied you are with your own life. People will never say you are perfect. Not because you are not, but because they don’t want you to be perfect.
Many of us spend his/her whole life looking for success and never find it, while others achieve outstanding success without even define what success means.
Focusing too hard only on “to be successful” will prevent to see the overall picture. Usually, successful people do not spend their time trying to find success, they are busy with their job and success find them.
“When you find no solution to a problem, it’s probably not a problem to be solved, but a truth to be accepted.”
What is the difference between the ideal world in your mind and the real world you experience? We call this difference: a problem. We always want to solve our problems. Sometimes we don`t even realize what actually the problem is, we just want something better, something else.
To be not happy is a base of our human nature. Our mind is set to find things that could be fixed and than fix those things. There are things in life what we experience as a problem, but in fact we can`t change it, so we have to accept. We cannot change other people, our co-workers or family members. It is not possible for us to change the economic situation. What we can change is ourselves.
By being aware of these things and by practicing meditation we can get rid of the problems, not by solving them, but by accepting them.
Learning new things is not easy, particularly after a certain age, but it is a must, if we don’t want to be left behind. Our modern world is changing very quickly, the knowledge what helped you to survive in the past, maybe won’t help you in the future. How fast one learns or adopts to a new situation determines how successful he/she becomes.
When we experience things what we don’t like, when we weren’t able to realize our goals, when we don’t own the things we deserve it is normal to become disappointing and cry. But staying in that mood for long won’t sort out anything. The only way to make your life better is to stand up and go forward.
People tend to think their happiness depends on other people and circumstances. We think if our parents/ children/ colleagues behave differently we will be happier. The truth is we can’t change them, but we can change our attitude and how we react. Those people who find happiness within themselves are generally more happy than those who want to find it in other people.
When we fail we can easily loose our self-esteem and motivation. We might think we are not good enough or have no talent for that. But if we start it again our chances to succeed will increase, because we learned a lot from the failure.
